So the day has finally arrived… my not-so-baby girl is officially potty trained and wearing “big girl” undies! Scarlett is a very smart girl and when people interact with her, they always tell me that she seems older for her age but I was always worried about when she would be potty trained. She’s been telling us when she has to pee in her diaper for like 6 months and has peed occasionally in our toilet (with a baby toilet insert that sits on top) but it wasn’t consistent because she “didn’t want to.”
So I’m like, well what are we going to do?! Then I researched online and read a post about getting toddlers their own mini toilet usually helps with potty training. Baby Patent sent me their Clean Flush Potty almost 2 months ago and seriously on the same day that it was delivered, Scarlett used it a few times! She was ecstatic to have her own “baby potty” that was just hers and she was so excited to use it. Every kid is different of course but that’s what worked for her.
Now let me tell you why this mama loves the Baby Patent Clean Flush Potty:
- It’s space efficient. It’s tiny and made it simple for Scarlett to sit on it plus it doesn’t take up a bunch of space in our bathroom.
- It comes with flushable liners(refills are also available)! We don’t have to worry about more trash or cleaning out the toilet every time she uses it.
- The clean up process is simple. Once Scarlett’s done using her potty, I step on the pedal on the back and the seat folds up so I can grab the liner from underneath. I pick it up and quickly flush it down our toilet. DONEZO!
*GIVEAWAY* I’m just loving the Clean Flush Potty so much that I’ll be giving TWO lucky followers one! To enter, just head over to my Instagram and look for the picture of Scarlett sitting on the potty for details after 12pm PST on March 29th. Good luck!
