So it’s going to be a year since I gave birth to Liam and I’m not where I want to be just yet but I definitely feel great! Side note, this is the longest I’ve been NOT pregnant in 3 years lol. I’ve still been doing the BBG workout program via the Sweat App, and yes, still obsessed. I had to stop for a few weeks and just did cardio because I challenged Leo to do the “Floss” dance one night and if he did then I would try a one-handed push-up that he’s really good at lol. Welp, I forgot the fact that I’m 30-years-old and didn’t warm-up my shoulders or anything, so I totally sprained a muscle in my arm after attempting to do it twice in a row, UGH. It’s funny now but I was totally upset then because it threw me off of my workout program! It is what it is though and I learned my lesson haha.
I restarted BBG 2.0 again the other week because it didn’t feel right moving on to the next level when I didn’t actually complete that program. I’ve also been having to workout late at night these past few months. I’m an early bird so I prefer to get my workout out of the way and done in the mornings but with 3 kids, sometimes my schedule is just not up to me anymore haha. It’s tougher to motivate myself at night so I’m glad WM Nutrition sent me their preworkout powder to try! Basically you take it 10-15 minutes before you workout (I like to take it right before I stretch and warm-up) and it gives you that little kick you need to get going. I’ve never tried a pre-workout before and I usually just wait for my energy to kick like 3 minutes into my workout so it’s awesome!! I don’t feel a crash after either. I don’t think I can do my workouts anymore without this preworkout.
For BBG, it’s 3 days of resistance workouts a week and the other days in between, it’s cardio. On my cardio days, I do dance cardio workouts by The Fitness Marshall on YouTube. It’s SO fun! I’m a dancer so dance has always been the thing that’s kept me in shape. Even if you’re not a dancer, I’m sure you will have a blast! I do it for 30 minutes straight and I’m always drenched after. As for my diet, it’s super balanced. I’d try to eat clean as much as possible but I also won’t deprive myself of my cravings here and there. I have a major sweet tooth! Oh and I have a husband who loves to make and eat some gooood food lol.
