Ok y’all it’s that time of the month! And no, not that “time of the month” lol… It’s time for an Ipsy Glam Bag review! 🙂 Btw, I’m not a fan of the actual bag again this month but the items inside seem to be promising!
OFRA Cosmetics Eyeshadow in Bohemian
I love this eyeshadow and the color! It’s a type of color that I would actually purchase. It’s a shimmery light brown and perfect for the lid for an earthy toned smokey eye. The color goes on nicely too!
Tarte Cosmetics LipSurgence Lip Creme in Wonder
Omg, this lip creme goes on like a dream… it’s smooth and creamy! I love that it also worked as a lipliner for me. My lips felt really hydrated the whole time I had it on too! Major plus. It’s definitely on the shiny side so if you’re a matte kinda girl, this product might not be for you. Any way, I’m a fan of the actual product but not too much of the shade I got. I like the product so much though that I would probably purchase it in a different color that I would wear more often.
Harvey Prince Organics Keravegan Hair Mask
This hair mask totally did its job of making my hair soft when I used it but it’s hard not to compare to the hair mask I currently have because I’m obsessed with it (shared here). Although, I do think it is a good hair mask especially since it’s eco-friendly and cruelty-free which makes it super safe for pregnant women to use! It’s a good hair product but I still stand by the one I use by Frederic Fekkai 🙂
Probelle Nail Lacquer in “In or Out”
If you’ve been following my blog, you should know by now that I have an addiction to nail polish so I always get excited when I get one in my Ipsy bag. Thanks to this review, I was forced to do my nails again, that makes it twice in one week! That’s a lot for this busy mama LOL. Scarlett took a super long nap so it worked out. Ok so about this polish though… LOVE! I’m always skeptical about a new brand since I love me some OPI and Essie but I was pleasantly surprised with this Probelle polish and the pretty color I got. The formula was perfect… it was thin and easy to apply. I would totally buy more of their polishes!
L.A.B.2 Live and Breathe Beauty Just Blending in Brush
To be honest, I’ve never really used a blending brush cause I just kinda use my fingers to blend my eyeshadows haha. I think it did a pretty good job of blending but I just made sure to do it lightly so it doesn’t take off too much of my eyeshadow. The bristles are really soft so I would just use it to blend and not to actually apply products.
Overall, I loved this month’s glam bag! Totally worth the $10 (considering that the OFRA eyeshadow alone retails for $12)! If you missed my March 2016 glam bag review last month… here it is. And if you’re considering to subscribe to Ipsy, click here!
