Dress: Band of Gypsies – Shoes: Sam Edelman – Choker: Vanessa Mooney – Wristlet: Coach
Totally loving this maxi dress because it’s perfect to use during the transition from summer to fall. I just adore the details like the sleeves, lace up ties in the front, and the slits. I also like how it’s sheer! It comes with a black slip dress which you can even wear by itself with a long sweater. So basically… it’s like 2 dresses for the price of one right?! Lol, score!
Btw, I’m still so into this choker trend right now! I own a few but that Vanessa Mooney one is my absolute go to. It’s like the “high end” version of the stretchy plastic ones I used to wear in middle school haha.
Oh and my parents just gave me the Coach wristlet for my birthday. It’s perfect because I’m always on the go and running errands (AKA unnecessary Target runs) that it’s easier to just carry that around than an actual bag 🙂
This hot iron holster by Holster Brands has been my new favorite item in my bathroom! I’ve been using it for about a month now but finally got to taking pictures this past weekend when I was at my parents’ house for the weekend. It works out since I have no natural light in my bathroom and my parents’ do… luckies!
Any way, my husband and I get ready at the same time all the time and we are always fighting for counter space lol. I usually have my hair dryer, straightener, and curling iron all over the counter so he legit has no space for anything… sorry not sorry! Haha. This is why this comes in handy since I can place all my hot tools in it while getting ready. It comes in a few other colors and Holster Brands also has other products for different purposes. I have the one that attaches to the sink so you can put the sponge in it. Love!
If my kitchen sink wasn’t stacked with baby bottles that needs to be washed, I’d show you buuut yeah! Lol. You should check them out! They are also sold at Target 🙂
Matching Set: Romwe – Shoes: Qupid (from MakailaJames.com)
Ok guys, this is it… the final year in my 20’s! I honestly can’t believe it and I’m so ready to make this year a memorable one. Being 28 was amazing as I started my blog, became a mom of 2 and started my new position as the “Musical Production Coordinator” at charter school I work at. It’s been rough having to leave 2 babies at home but I find comfort in knowing that I’m working hard to provide for them. What’s great is that I’m also doing something I absolutely love and am passionate about!
Alright, about that outfit though… the matching set is from an online store called Romwe and is only *drum roll please* $11!! Seriously, that’s like an unheard of. I have a few other matching sets and the top alone is literally triple the amount of that whole set. The material is thin but definitely comfortable. For super trendy clothing items, you don’t need to be spending a ton. Romwe has pages and pages of affordable clothing! Click the banner below to link you to some trendy pieces that are on sale 🙂
The shoes are also from an online boutique called Makaila James. Those chunky heels are so comfortable and the cognac color goes with everything! MakailaJames.com also has a ton of other stylish clothes… check them out!
“My Private Jet” is seriously one of my favorite OPI polishes of all time, especially for the Fall season! It looks pretty black from far but up close, it’s lighter with tiny specs of glitter. Oh and it’s also a dream to apply… super creamy and opaque formula. If you don’t already have this color in your nail polish collection, you need to go get it! It’s one of my go to’s for sure 🙂
Top: Trendy Bubs – Pants: Cat & Jack – Shoes: Old Navy – Headwrap: Sew Sew Collins
Omg, can you believe summer 2016 is coming to an end?! I sure can’t. This summer is definitely one for the books because I became a mom of 2 🙂 It was nice having my maternity leave during the summer too.
It’s still super hot here in San Diego so Scarlett and I are taking advantage of our late afternoon walks and of course… while she explores, I click away like the mamarazzi I am. This tee from Trendy Bubs is so cute and comfy! The saying is so true.
This little girl is my tiny ray of sunshine (and Landon of course). It’s definitely not always sunshine and butterflies which I’m sure all moms can agree. There are moments where I want to pull my hair out haha. When things get a little (okay, a lot) cray cray, I just remind myself how blessed I am to have 2 beautiful children who truly brighten up my life. Yes, my hands are full but my heart is fuller 🙂
Well, thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a wonderful weekend with your loved ones! xo
P.S. Those acid wash jeggings though?! (insert heart eyes emoji here)
Top: Nation LTD – Pants: Jessica Simpson (similar) – Jacket: Blank NYC – Shoes: Steve Madden (similar)
I just love plain shirts that have a little twist on them which is why cold shoulder tops are one of my fave styles. This one by Nation LTD is seriously the softest shirt EVER. Seriously. The fabric is perfection because it’s light and thin but not see-through… thank goodness! I’ve already worn this top a few times since I got it because it’s one of those pieces that you can just throw on easily and wear with different looks. It can be worn with jeans, shorts, skirts… you name it. I even wore it with work out leggings and tennis shoes last week when teaching dance. It’s so versatile and a great layering piece!
Btw, that moto jacket that I used as a prop for my pictures (haha) is another closet staple of mine! It can jazz up any outfit instantly 🙂
This post was in collaboration with Nation LTD. As always, all opinions are my own.
