Dermalogica Daily Superfoliant

So I totally didn’t know that your city’s pollution actually contributes to aging! I recently found out that San Diego’s skin pollution index is 52 right now which is Moderate (which is OK but not good)… I’m reaching that age where I am totally seeing a change in my skin due to aging. I was so thankful that Dermalogica sent me their new Daily Superfoliant to try! They claim that it is an advanced powder exfoliant that activates upon contact with water, releasing powerful enzymes, skin-resurfacing alpha hydroxyl acids and anti-pollution technology.

Sounds legit right?! I couldn’t wait to try it out and see for myself. First of all, how cute is the “d” that serves as the dispenser? The directions say to put about 1/2 of a teaspoon onto wet hands then work into a lather by rubbing hands together, apply on to you face in circular motions (avoiding the eye area), massage gently for one minute, then rinse thoroughly with warm water.

It definitely felt amazing massaging it on my face because of the exfoliants. After rinsing it off after one minute, like the directions said, I noticed an immediate difference with the texture of my skin. It felt so much cleaner, softer and smoother! I love products that have results after just one use. What’s also great about the Daily Superfoliant is that it’s safe enough to use daily. I’ve been using it for about a week now and I still get the same feeling as I did when I first used it. I’ll have to do an update in a couple months 🙂 So far, I’m sold!
