Yes!! It’s that time of the year when I can dust off all of my sandals and start wearing them again. Okay, I’m totally exaggerating because I live in San Diego, California where the weather is mostly perf… (am I right fellow San Diegans)?! But any way, it’s definitely the season to splurge and buy more sandals… to make it easier for you, I put together a bunch of super cute pairs that I will have to convince my husband that I NEED to buy lol 😛 They’re all flat because I’m about to be a whale in my 30+ weeks of pregnancy and need to be comfy haha totally kidding, kinda.
Happy Shoes Day Tuesday!!!

Guys, I am officially in my 3rd and final trimester! I can’t believe how fast this pregnancy is going. Baby #3 (yes, we still don’t have an official name yet although we do have a couple options) will be here in about 3 months! I’m currently soaking up my time with Landon as the baby before he becomes a big brother. He’s been so attached to me too and I don’t mind at all because… snuggles! As for Scarlett, I’m really excited for her to be a big sister again because she is obsessed with babies so she will love helping take care of her newest baby brother (under my supervision, of course lol). She loved Landon when he was a newborn but now that she’s older, she understands a little more. She even knows that the baby is in my belly… too cute.
Any way, this boho style dress (not maternity) is from Romwe and only $22! Such a steal since the quality is pretty good and the style of the dress reminds me of Free People. It’s the perfect dress during pregnancy, in my opinion, because it’s loose and airy… it’s like wearing a loose sheet haha. I’m really picky when it comes to prints but I like this one, it’s not too out there.
P.S. Landon turns ONE this weekend (his party won’t be until the 17th though but I ain’t complaining cause this busy mama needs more time to finish planning lol)!

As some of you may know, we moved into a house a little over a month ago and we are really starting to enjoy it! It’s such a pain to move… I hate packing and unpacking with a passion! Lol. The person that has been loving our new house the most is little miss Scarlett. She gets her own play room (technically, it’s hers and Landon’s but she’s claimed it), a backyard and front yard to play in and an awesome park across the street. I’m so happy that she is able to create these wonderful childhood memories! I spent a lot of my childhood outdoors so I will make sure my children get to do that as well.
One thing that makes my life easier when Scarlett is playing outside is the Nuby Snack N’ Sip Cup! It’s seriously the best invention ever! I love that you can store snacks on the top container… Scarlett loves it too! She enjoys that she can literally snack AND sip. It’s the only thing I have to take outside with us when she wants to play. I never have to step a foot in the house until she’s done cause she’s good to go for awhile with her goldfish crackers and apple juice 🙂 Mamas, it’s also super easy to clean… thank goodness!
*GIVEAWAY* I’ve teamed up with Nuby USA to give one lucky winner a Snack N’ Sip! All the details on my Instagram @rainalegado 🙂

When I’m not pregnant, I have no problem living a healthy lifestyle… eating healthy meals, working out on the regular and just making sure I am taking good care of my health and fitness. During my pregnancies though, it’s a whole other story! During the first couple of months, I have no problem watching what I eat but when it comes to the middle of the second trimester and ALL of the third trimester… forget it! I want everything fatty, salty, sweet, and basically everything I would normally feel bad about consuming lol. That makes me so thankful for prenatal vitamins so that I can be reassured knowing that my body and my growing baby are getting the essential nutrients that I may not be providing with my current diet.
Forté Elements sent me a 30 day supply of their Prenatal+ and I was so excited to check it out. Not only is it packaged in a super cute box but it was already separated in different packets for each day. You know I love convenience and anything to make this mama’s life easier! I am always on the go so I just grab one and throw it in my bag to take to work. I used to purchase any brand of prenatal vitamins (typically the gummy ones) but honestly, after reading the benefits of this particular brand… I was sold. Here’s what Forté Prenatal+ helps with:
- Maintaining a healthy pregnancy by providing nutrients that are essential for the health and wellness of both you and your baby
- Maternal Nutrition and Baby Health
What sets them apart from the typical drugstore brands is that they are Pharmaceutical-Grade Quality. They are produced in FDA-compliant manufacturing facilities using pharmaceutical-grade manufacturing practices. Forté Elements is also supported by Medical Science. They are formulated by licensed physicians and based on published clinical research to provide the right blend of vital nutrients.
Sounds so legit right? Well, it is! I’ve been using this for over 2 weeks now and I feel so good knowing that I am providing my body and baby what they need to stay healthy during this pregnancy. Let’s be real… growing a human is tough and can take its toll on a woman so it helps to get the supplements you need from a trusted brand. Believe me, this is my 3rd time lol.
They also sent me some of their anti-nausea supplements and a packet of pregnancy exercises based on what trimester you’re in… so awesome! PLUS a meal plan. I might just have to do separate posts on these two topics so stay tuned! In the mean time, check them out here… they have much more than just prenatal supplements 🙂

First of all, happy 4 1/2 years of marriage (10 1/2 years together) to my amazing husband! I’m definitely blessed. Though we have our issues that every couple faces and we are nowhere near perfect… we are perfect for each other. We met when I was a freshman in high school, almost 16 years ago, so it has been an incredible journey to witness each other grow throughout the years.
Not only is he a wonderful husband but he’s an even better father to our children… more than I could’ve ever dreamt about. Life with children can get in the way of our relationship at times, well actually, most of the time haha. People always ask me how I’m able to work full-time, be a blogger, be a mom to a 2-year-old and an 11-month-old while being pregnant, and still somehow look like I “have it all together”… my answer? My husband! He supports me 100% and pushes me to continue to follow my dreams because he wants me to be happy. He’s a hands-on daddy who takes such great care of our kids while spoiling me and treating me like a queen every day!
To Leo: We’ve been able to get through many obstacles together and come out even stronger than ever so I am confident that we can make it through whatever may come our way in the future. Cheers to forever! There’s no one else I’d rather do life with. Love you!
I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend! I sure did 🙂 My husband asked me what I wanted for Mother’s Day this year and since I’ve been so behind on blog posts and a few collaborations, I told him all I wanted to do was “hire” him for a couple hours to take my blog photos! Lol.
Dress: Forever 21 Kids
This is tough to do on a regular basis… because, kids. He usually watches them while I have my little brother-in-law (10 years old) take them, only one outfit at a time. Today he watched the kids for me while I did my hair and make-up and he took both kids in the stroller as we strolled around our neighborhood taking photos. He waited patiently while I changed into different outfits too! I don’t really expect or want anything extra cause he honestly treats me like a queen everyday. Then the rest of the day, we celebrated with his side of the family!
Btw, the wrap dress I wore is from Romwe. It’s a non-maternity dress that I am obsessed with! It’s only $23.99 and you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the quality! The fabric is thick and doesn’t wrinkle easily. As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, I love finding non-maternity clothing that works with my baby bump because that means I can wear it again after I give birth. You’ll love having this dress in your closet for Spring and even summer!
P.S. The dress Scarlett wore is from Forever 21 kids! It’s a bit big so I had to pin the back but it’s SO CUTE. We got a lot of compliments on it 🙂
Happy Monday everyone!
