Happy April, everyone! Since it’s April, I wanted to give you all an update on my fitness journey.
For those that follow me on Instagram, you know that I am currently on the BBG workout plan and was on a customized meal plan created by my friend and fellow blogger, Mama Rocki.
I started the meal plan because I went months on months eating anything and everything. For someone who was always “healthy” in the past, I just didn’t feel right after awhile and my body totally needed a cleanse. I did the meal plan for 2 months and definitely lost weight! I didn’t get to where I want to be just yet (you know, summer 2019 bod haha) but my goal for the meal plan was to get back into a healthy lifestyle. Before kids, I naturally ate healthy for the most part but never deprived myself if I wanted something “unhealthy.”
If I wanted to get back to that lifestyle that was majority healthy with a side of sweets and treats then I had to make a change.
The customized meal plan helped me get that discipline and healthy balance back. Although I’m no longer on the strict meal plan, I still make healthier choices for the most part and make some of the meals during the work week. I’m definitely going to go back on it a month before summer vacation or any time I need a super healthy boost. By the way, Rocki is have a major Spring sale right now. As for my workouts, I’ve been really consistent with my BBG workouts via the Sweat app.
With the exception of one week because I was sick 🙁 I got back on it the week after though. I haven’t been on the morning grind though so I’ve been getting my workouts in like right before midnight… #betterlatethannever #momlife LOL.
