(Me at 41 weeks pregnant to 7 weeks postpartum; posted on my Instagram for #transformationtuesday)
Landon has been living off breast milk exclusively for almost 2 months now, yay! He loves to eat and is growing so fast. When I was breastfeeding Scarlett during her first year, I always forgot which side I fed her last and she was always grabbing on my shirt or sometimes my hair while nursing. I learned my lesson this time around and discovered 2 accessories that solves those problems!
First is the Nurselet which is a velcro bracelet that comes in a ton of other cute prints and has dual purposes. One purpose is serving as a reminder for which side to feed next. During Landon’s early weeks, it was easy to know which side was next because obviously it was just way bigger than the other lol. Now that my supply has adjusted to his feedings, sometimes both sides feel the exact same and I can’t remember which is next (especially during the wee hours of the night). This bracelet has been a huge help. Not only does it work for that, but it also holds your shirt up during feedings or pumping sessions! LOVE. Use code “NURSELETQUEEN” to receive 15% off your entire order on their website!
Second is my nursing/teething necklace from Baby Bees and Peonies! They’re so cute and available in different colors. I have the black one also which goes with most of my outfits since I tend to wear black! Lol. Landon likes to hold on to it while nursing and when he’s old enough, he can use it as a teether as well.
Mamas: do you have any breastfeeding essentials/accessories that I should know about?! I’m always down to try new things that will make my life easier 🙂
This post was in collaboration with Nurselet and Baby Bees and Peonies. As always, all opinions are my own.
