Top: Cherokee – Leggings: Kardashian Kids (sold out) – Shoes: Old Navy
Scarlett has been my favorite little person to run errands with these days. Sure, I can leave her at home with my husband but she’s growing up so fast that I want to cherish this super fun age (especially since I work full-time)! Even if that means… taking 2 hours for what should be an hour errand trip, having small talk with random people because Scarlett always wants to say hi to everyone (she got that from her dad), or having to entertain her while going through the grocery aisles. I am pooped by the time we get home but it’s all worth it to spend these priceless moments with my baby girl, who, in reality, is now a toddler (tear). Ok enough sad mommy talk! Taking her out with me is also another opportunity to dress her in cute casual wear and take pics outdoors 🙂
The top is from Target and is currently on sale right now. I’ve always been a bit obsessed with stripes since forever so when I saw this top, I just had to get it for Scarlett. The material is like sweatshirt material so it’s perfect for those sunny days with a cool breeze. I love the cuffed sleeves too!
To add a little pizazz, I had her wear some metallic gold leggings. I especially love this pair by Kardashian Kids because it’s not that “in your face” kinda metallic gold, ya know what I mean? It’s more mellow but still shimmers in the light. Don’t get me wrong though I love me some bright gold! Unfortunately, they’re sold out but I’m sure there are options on Etsy that are similar! I did find a similar one that I linked below.
Of course, her shoes are from Old Navy, where 70% of her shoe collection is from. These are on sale right now too and come in silver (which she has and shared here) and pink! Honestly, these jellies go with just about any outfit! It’s perfect for those days when you’re running late and don’t know what shoes to grab. Sometimes I even just leave them in her diaper bag!
P.S. How about that ponytail though… lol. Until the rest of her hair catches up, that’s all I got to work with! She didn’t feel like wearing a headband so I wasn’t going to force her haha. She did get so many compliments on that pony though!
