My mind has always been so busy but even more so now that I’m a wife, a mom of two babies and two dogs and a blogger! It literally is always going in a million different directions at a million miles per hour. I’d have to say it’s quite exhausting! Some times I need to literally remind myself to stop, be present and live in the moment which is what I think life is all about.
I found out about Expectful a week before I gave birth but didn’t get the chance to listen to the meditation guided audio until recently. I love it! It reminds me a lot of yoga, minus the working out part. Before I got pregnant with Scarlett (my firstborn), I was always taking hot yoga classes and I would walk out of the yoga studio feeling so relaxed and refreshed. The Expectful meditation audio gives me those same feelings.
I made it a goal for this month to start my day off with some meditation so I can clear my mind for the rest of the day and take some much needed quiet time alone. My only regret is that I didn’t find out about it sooner… Oh, how this would’ve helped so much during my pregnancy (especially with those crazy hormones lol).

I think it’s so important for us mamas to make time for ourselves, whether if it means waking up early or staying up a little later. Some days I do have to give up my “me time” because I just need to catch up on some sleep… lol.
You should definitely check out Expectful, your first month is free! Have a wonderful weekend everyone 🙂
