You guys, I cannot believe I have been doing the BBG (Bikini Body Guide) workout program by Kayla Istines for 12 weeks now! I am not exactly where I want to be just yet but it’s an amazing feeling to know that I’m getting stronger. There were a lot of exercises that were a struggle to do when I first started and now my form is better and I’m able to do more reps before needing a quick breather haha. One of my most FAQs on Instagram is what app I use to workout… it’s called Sweat and I’ve been obsessed! It costs $19.99 a month but it’s so worth it for people like me who just don’t have the extra time/energy to get to the gym. I’m able to work out at home whenever I can fit it in, sometimes it’s even late at night at 11pm.
So MWF’s are resistance days (legs, arms, and abs) and the other days are cardio. For my cardio days, I create a playlist on YouTube where I add 30 minutes worth of Zumba videos to songs I like. I’m a dancer so this type of cardio is so much fun and it makes the time go by faster! Since the resistance workouts are so intense, I look forward to cardio days to let loose a little bit. Leo loves to laugh at me sometimes when he catches me doing of the funny looking moves (lol), Scarlett loves to follow along (so cute) and Landon will often have me carry him while dancing for some extra added weight (thanks bud) haha.
Ok now let’s talk about my workout wear in these pictures! How cute right?! The sweater and leggings are from Zyia Active courtesy of Zyia with Stephanie 🙂 I love the forest green workout sweater, not only because it’s super cute, but also because it’s great for layering! The leggings have mesh on the side with a criss-cross design… love! The material is so stretchy yet just the right amount of “tight” lol you know what I mean?! Head over to Zyia with Stephanie’s Instagram page for a giveaway 🙂

Another create option for working out at home is Fitness Blender. It’s what I use. The workout videos themselves are free, but you can purchase a plan, and then do that plan how ever often.
I’ll have to check it out. Thanks Michelle! xo
