I used Frederic Fekkai Shampoo and Conditioner back in college and was totally in love. After awhile though, it started to break the bank since I was washing my hair daily because I was a dance major who literally was drenched in sweat all day haha. Not to mention, I had long hair that used up a lot of product. Plus, I chose to rather spend my money on cute new leotards for ballet class haha.
There are a ton of drug store brands that definitely give you the bang for your buck but after I gave birth to Scarlett, my hair was just always dry. So I took the plunge and bought the Fekkai Essential Shea Shampoo and Conditioner in hopes that it would moisturize my postpartum hair. In the past, I used the Full Blown Volume combo and even though my hair still very much needs volume, it’s in dire need of moisture. The first time I used the Essential Shea products in the shower, it was seriously the most luxurious shower ever… I felt like I was a star in my own Herbal Essences commercial, lol!
I’ve seen such a huge difference in my hair since switching back to Fekkai hair products. My hair feels super moisturized and has less frizz. I even bought the PrX Reparatives Intense Fortifying Mask that I use weekly in place of the Essential Shea Conditioner. Yes, these are all pricey since they are salon hair products but they work so well for my recently parched hair! Oh and I only wash my hair every other day now, sometimes I can even go without washing it for 3 days. I just use Batiste dry shampoo in between washes and on the last day before I wash my hair, I throw it up into my signature hairstyle… the messy bun! 🙂
P.S. The candle I’ve been obsessed with (above) is “Saijo Persimmon” by Voluspa (my fave candle brand)… smells sooo amazing! And the nail color I have on is “You’re Such a Budapest” by OPI… perfect color for Spring!

Definitely a splurge lol! But worth it 🙂 Thanks Renee!
Your hair is beautiful! It’s always nice to be able to splurge on certain products that REALLY seem to make a difference (and make you feel good). Also loving that nail color you have, so pretty.
Thanks Kathryn!! <3
