Happy New Year everyone!! I hope you all had a great time ringing in the New Year last night! You will never guess where the Elegados were at midnight… in the CAR! Lol. We were rushing to get from our house in Temecula to Leo’s uncle’s house 30 minutes away (where we have been spending NYE for the past few years). We lost track of time at home with my family and we rushed out hoping to make it to the countdown and we literally missed it by one minute. OMG. What can you do though? Haha. We still had a great time celebrating until like 3am.
Any way, I wanted to share some of my New Year resolutions. Some may be cliche but I love a fresh start and what better way to start than a brand new year?!
- Get back to a healthy lifestyle – It’s been a hectic few months so I was on a roll during the summer, gym every day and eating pretty healthy. I definitely need to get back to that ASAP. My body (and mind) needs it.
- Be more organized – As a working mom of 3 littles and blogger, I have a never ending to-do list. Sometimes there’s no list because I remember things in the middle of chasing around my kids and I tell myself I’ll remember them later (biggest lie I’ve ever told myself lol). The mom brain is no joke too so I plan to have separate, organized to-do lists for family, work, home and blog.
- Be more present – Being a mom AND blogger makes it tough to put my phone down some times. I love to record and take pictures of everything and I also love to update my IG. There’s gotta be a balance and I feel like I’m doing pretty good but it’s definitely still an area of growth for me.
Ok so that’s my top 3 resolutions this year. Here’s to keeping them longer than the month of January!! Haha.
