Everything in the March 2016 Glam Bag is full size except for the mask which is sold as a 5 pack and we only got one pack as a sample (but whatevs)! I think this month’s bag is definitely a steal since it only cost me $10 and as you can see from the retail prices above, the total cost of everything is way more than what I paid for… Score! The actual make-up bag isn’t my favorite, especially because I’m not a fan of orange. I’ve had my subscription for like 3 years already so I literally have a collection of like 30 Ipsy make-up bags!
Margaret Dabbs London Super Shiner Buffer
To be honest, I don’t usually use a shiner buffer because I always have polish on my nails and its purpose is to shine your natural nails. My mani from this post here is still going strong so I tried it on my husband while he was sleeping, lol! His nails actually did get “super shiny.” So for all you ladies who rock beautiful natural nails, this product will be totes worth it for you!
Global Beauty Care Dead Sea Wash Off Mask
(This mask got me twinning with the moon face emoji, haha. Sorry bad quality, it’s from Snapchat)
Ok so I did love applying this all over my face. It felt nice and smelled pretty good. The directions said to put it on after washing and drying your face then leave it on for about 15 minutes. After washing the mask off, my skin felt so much softer and rejuvenated. I’m not really a mask type of gal though, I usually use a facial peel or scrub. It was a nice change but I think I’ll stick to what I’ve been using for years, the Microdelivery Peel by Philosophy. If you enjoy face masks though, definitely try this one!
Mellow Cosmetic Powder Blush in Bronze
I really wanted to like this but I think it was too light for my skin color so I couldn’t even see it on. I literally kept putting more and more on my cheeks and it was still barely noticeable. Maybe it would work for someone who has lighter skin.
Starlooks Luxe Longwear Eye Pencil in Jet
Omg you guys, this is probably my new fave eye pencil! I will probably stop using what I currently use and start using this one. It’s super pigmented and is a true “jet black.” It applies so smoothly too! I mean it does retail for $16 so it better be good right? Well, it is… LOVE!
NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Soft Spoken
First of all, I love the color! It applied like a gem and the color stayed on for hours. The best part is my lips didn’t dry out while wearing it! I might have to go get some of the other colors and add them to my growing liquid lipstick collection. Shoot, for that price ($6.99)… I might just get them all! Haha.
(Btw, just in case you missed it… I shared my favorite daily lip products last week here).
So basically, the March 2016 Glam Bag was mostly a hit for me! If I had to list the products from my most favorite to least, it would be in this order: Eye Pencil, Liquid Lipstick, Dead Sea Mask, Shiner Buffer then the Powder Blush.
