Ok so I totally used to do the whole lipstick everyday thing buuut… unfortunately my lips always dried up quickly (like “omg, do you need water?” kinda dry, LOL). SO jelly of all you ladies that can wear lipstick every day and still have luscious, moisturized lips! I was constantly reapplying my lip balm then the lipstick over and over again so I wanted something more low maintenance for everyday wear.
I’m so thrilled to have finally found products that work extremely well together (above)! When I feel like my lips need a moisture boost, I start my day off with the Hanalei Sugar Lip Scrub. It really does a good job of relieving dry lips. Then I apply a layer of the Murad Rapid Collagen Infusion for Lips to add a little more plumpness, soften the lips and help reduce the appearance of fine lines. When I first heard of this product I was skeptical, especially because it’s $24, but it’s amazeballs! Basically, it smoothens your lips and prepares it for whatever lip product you decide to use on top. I’ve used it under lipstick too and… wow, game changer!
For my everyday lip color, I wanted a product that matches my natural lip color and provides all day moisture. Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Honey does both (and it has SPF 15, major plus)! I’ve used their lip products for years and have tried new products here and there but always came back to their lip treatments! Trust me, I’ve tried about every lip balm from Target and they just didn’t work for me. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better than that, I was browsing online and found the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Liner in “Pillow Talk”! Seriously, I could’ve cried. Ok not really but you get it, lol. These 2 products are a match made in heaven. Yes, it’s pretty pricey “for a lip liner” BUT it’s super pigmented and stays on all day! A little definitely goes a long way so you won’t have to purchase them often.
At night, I just use the lip scrub followed by the Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treament (#2 above) and I wake up with super moisturized lips 🙂 Don’t get me wrong, I haven’t fully abandoned my lipstick collection that I have spent an “X” amount of money on, especially since I recently got addicted to liquid lipsticks. I use them for occasional work events during the week and of course, on the weekends!
P.S. You totally don’t need to use all these products together, each one is totally worth it on its own! And yes, they will help relieve dry lips but drinking lots of water will too!

I love your blog! I would also love if you could check out and follow mine! X
