Being a full-time Musical Production Coordinator, mommy to 2 under 2, a wife AND a blogger can really take it’s toll on me. I seriously live off of coffee and I mask my exhaustion with make-up! Haha. I’m so busy but honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way 🙂
Powder
Okay, now back to the make-up! I have been using MAKE UP FOREVER Pro Finish Multi-Use Powder Foundation for YEARS. It’s just so amazing that I never had the itch to try another brand. The coverage is awesome and I always get so many people asking me what I use for my face. Well, this is it! Trust me, once you try this, you’ll be hooked.
Concealer
The NYX Dark Circle Concealer works wonders! I just started using this a few months ago. Before that I was using a MAC concealer that wasn’t specifically for the under eye area. Scarlett was playing with my make-up bag one day and misplaced my concealer so I went to Target (cause the Mall was closed) and picked this one up. I immediately fell in love with it! At first, I was like why is it orangey?! Then I read the box and the orange color actually balances out the dark color underneath the eyes. It works! So thank you Scarlett for losing my MAC concealer which led me to this gem! Btw, I found it later on but still continued to use the NYX one.
Eyebrows
Since I dance and sweat throughout the day, the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade is key because it’s waterproof! I sure would hate to go to work with eyebrows then leave without any… LOL. This stuff is a pot of gold! Pricey, yes but a little goes a long way.
Mascara
When it comes to mascara, the drug store brands really work for me! Why pay more when the less works right? I used to buy Dior mascara which is AMAZING but realistically, it’s not cost efficient since each one was $25 and I go through mascara tubes so often. I love Maybelline’s The Rocket mascara because it’s super pigmented and adds a lot of volume to my lashes.
Eyeliner
I first found out about the It Cosmetics Gel Liner when I got the sample size in one of my Ipsy bags. I fell in love with it the first time I used it and have been using it ever since. It’s so pigmented and lasts for hours. I normally wear eyeliner only on the bottom because I don’t have much time in the morning to get ready and I’d rather spend that time on my brows lol.
Lipstick
“Whirl” by MAC is my absolute go-to lipstick! It’s so pretty and is perfect for any time of the year and for the “everyday look.” I believe it will go with any skin tone so you need to get it! Trust.
Blush
To brighten up my face a bit, I use theBalm Cabana Boy Blush on my cheeks. It’s just the right amount of pink. Again, I discovered this brand and this product through Ipsy. Thank you Ipsy!!
I completely recommend all these products. You’re welcome! 😛
Mac Whirl is on my wishlist, I definitely need to try it out!!
I need to switch to a cheaper mascara too – I’m using the Too Faced waterproof right now, but it’s too expensive to buy all the time! I’ll definitely have to check out the Rocket Mascara 🙂

I feel you!! I live in mascara so I definitely had to go the drug store route 😛 Try the Rocket and let me know how you like it!
Great to know some products that can mask the exhaustion when it happens! I was wondering about the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade if it’s that good… I might give it a try! Thanks for sharing! xo
