We were invited to have dinner at the new restaurant in Encinitas called The Patio on the 101 and boy, did we have a wonderful experience! It’s a mostly outdoor restaurant that’s super kid-friendly. It’s been so hot lately so we didn’t even think to bring and sweaters… super mom fail because it was a bit chilly. Thankfully they offered blankets (say what?!) and heaters so it was all good! The kids were pretty behaved since they were able to color on their kids menu with the crayons provided… lifesaver. And Liam was such an angel and just chilled in his car seat the entire time while enjoying the scenery, although we did need to bust out his favorite movie on Leo’s phone later so that we could finish our meal haha.
Here’s what we got for our appetizers: crunchy brussel srpouts (with basil and parmesan cheese), parmesan fries, and their soup of the day. I forgot what it is exactly but it was freakin’ amazing! It has coconut and tasted similar to a soup you’d find in a Thai restaurant.
We ordered the kids a small cheese pizza and a cheeseburger meal. They were only $6 each by the way and the quality was on point. The kids loved them!!
If you ever find yourself in the Encinitas area, stop by The Patio on 101… it’s worth it, trust me! We had the best time and can’t wait to go back. Check them out on Instagram too 🙂
*Thank you so much for having us, The Patio on 101!
