First of all, hope you all had a wonderful Easter! We had a good one here at home, different… but good 🙂 We tried to make it memorable for the kids and it was a success. I can’t even remember the exact date this quarantine started but needless to say, last week was the first week that I have truly accepted our “new normal.” The first couple of weeks were tough and felt soooo long. It was just an adjustment for my family and now we are finally in a little groove.
The kids have doing virtual learning with their teachers and Scarlett has her virtual dances during the week which has brought more a schedule and sense of normalcy. I’ve also been on my consistent workout schedule. Luckily my husband’s side of the family is having a body competition so it’s keeping me motivated to eat healthy. I’ve still been putting make-up on most days just so I can be ready for any content I need to shoot. Yes, my TikTok obsession is still going strong, haha.
I’ve also been able to really focus on my blog and social media, binge watch some shows (I’m currently watching McMillions on Hulu), work on my fitness, spend QT with the kids and my husband, clean/organize and shop online (00ps). I mean, we are truly blessed to have the quarantine lifestyle we have so I am super grateful. Even though I have nothing to complain about all, like at all, I can’t help but think of those who are personally affected by COVID-19. Knowing that the simple task of just staying home will help other people makes it easier to stay home so that we can flatten the curve. STAY HOME!!!
