Hi guys! I can’t believe it’s almost Easter. The kids are on Spring Break next week, which is the week leading up to Easter, so I thought it would be fun to gather some Easter themed craft ideas. What’s in My Fanny Pack?

I’ve traded in my big tote pack filled with junk for a fanny pack with just my everyday essentials. I realized I didn’t need everything that I normally throw into my big bags so I opted for a fanny pack because of it’s convenience. It’s so comfy too that I usually keep it on in the car too lol. With 3 kids, if I can condense the things I need to bring for myself… the better.

Here’s what I keep inside:

My phone – Used it to take the picture so it’s not in the flat lay lol
Keys – Duh.
Hand sanitizer – Love these mini ones from Bath & Body Works
Hand lotion – My hands get dry during the winter so this is a necessity.
Lip balm – My fave lip balm and I love that it comes in a mini version.
Eye drops – My eyes get red occasionally so these Lumify eye drops are a must.
ID + Cards – I don’t even use a wallet these days, only when I use a big bag.

I always love seeing what people have in their bags so I wanted to share what’s in mine!

Show Your Kids’ Teacher Some Love

So I’m sure most of you have your kids’ Valentine’s cards and treats for their classmates already planned… here is your friendly reminder to show the teachers some love too!

Teachers pour their heart and soul to teaching and caring for our kids every single day so they deserve some extra love on LOVE day, right?! I have a very special place in my heart for teachers, especially those in special education. I know firsthand how challenging some days can be with my own kids (and fun fact: I actually use to teach high school dance) and I also know firsthand how demanding and mentally exhausting teaching can be. And for teachers who are also moms, O.M.G… heroes! 🙂

I love to spoil my kids’ teachers when I can so I can show my appreciation and holidays are the perfect time to do that in my opinion. I rounded up some simple teacher gifts (for any budget) that you can put together by V-Day! Hope you find them helpful and get some inspo:

You can’t go wrong with V-day colored candy in a clear bag! I made this the other year for my son’s teachers and they loved it! It’s so simple, inexpensive and SO cute!! I like to write my gift tags because it’s more personal but do you mama!

Ok how freakin’ adorable are these strawberry dipped in chocolate heart skewers?!? I hope my kids’ teachers don’t read my blog cause I might have to add these to what I already have planned to give them lol. I actually cut strawberries in hearts for my kids’ class party a couple years ago but I never thought to dip them in chocolate and add them to a skewer. Obsessed.

If you’re on a time crunch and have some extra $$ to spend, head to your local Bath & Body Works (or even Target and Walmart) and grab some hand soap! Add a tag and ribbon to it and you’re good to go! Hand soaps are a necessity these days more than ever so they will be grateful!

Ok how cute?! This is another simple one. Go to Target and buy some Burt’s Bee’s lip balm (if you want to use the bee theme) or just regular lip balm and call it a day! Cute and simple… love it!

I LOVE the presentation of these! And what teacher wouldn’t enjoy receiving a bath bomb?! Ok… probably the ones without a bath tub but trust me, they will think the gift is just adorable in itself!

Fall Vibes with Walmart

If there is one main thing that sets the mood for your home, it’s definitely a wreath on your front door. Not only are they super cute but they also set your door apart from all the other doors. The wreath you choose is the first impression of your interior design style. I love changing my wreaths every season so it’s important for me to find some that are nice, high quality and of course, affordable… it has to be all of the above. Thankfully Walmart has a bunch to choose from! I even got this tumbler too to match my wreath haha.

To add a little touch of Halloween, I added some spider webs and 3D bats. Love it! I’ve linked the wreath and tumbler below, along with other wreaths that I love. I mean, it’s too bad I only have one front door because there were so many to choose from haha.

Smarts & Crafts at Walmart

With the kids back in school and busy all day, I need things to keep them entertained during the weekend. Thankfully Smarts & Crafts Kits at Walmart do just that! There are so many kits to choose from so you are bound to find some one or two (or more) that your kiddo will love. They are also super affordable so no worries about breaking the bank either! Scarlett chose the Wooden Flower Garden and the Jewelry Maker kits.

The Wooden Flower Garden kit came with a bunch of gel pens and wooden flowers to color. Landon wanted to join in on the flower decorating fun too. It kept them entertained for almost an hour and their creations were SO cute!

The Jewelry Maker kit came with a bunch of string and a variety of fun beads! Scarlett had a blast choosing with beads would go together perfectly as a necklace for her teacher. Of course, she had to model it once she was done!

I also love that each kit comes with a little bag to store everything in. Check out the other kits they have available at Walmart which I also linked below!

Zulily’s Back-to-School, #UniquelyZu Contest

Guys, I have some super exciting news! Zulily just launched a Fashion Design contest for Kids, the Back-to-school, #UniquelyZu Content. Kids will get the chance to be the trend setting inspiration for an exclusive capsule collection. There will be six winners who will be chosen based on their submitted designs to win a $6,000 prize package plus a bonus opportunity for a design session with Zulily (for the parent and child). During that design session, they will get to provide creative inspiration for an exclusive Zulily capsule collection ranging from swimwear to back-to-school styles. The collection is to be launched in 2022. How exciting!
